Ellen D. Hicks, 63, of Carrollton, KY., died on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at her residence in Carrollton, KY.
She was born on March 31, 1946 in Henry County, KY., the daughter of the late John & Ellia (Moore) Gray. She was a homemaker and a member of the Henry County D.V.A.
She is survived by husband of 47 years; Raymond Hicks, two daughters Anna Kurtz of Bedford, KY., and Sarah Hammock of Carrollton, KY., two sisters; Mary Pyles of Carrollton, KY., and Minnie Kelley also of Carrollton, KY., four grandchildren also survive.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, a sister; Margie Dixon, brothers; Goble Moore, Bert Moore, Sr., Dick Moore and James Drake.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
