Ellen Joyce Sharon, 77, of Carrollton, KY., formerly of Gratz, KY., died on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on April 4, 1934 in Marble, Arkansas the daughter of the late Ell and Ruby Katherine Stewart Granger. She was a homemaker and a former cook at Camp Kysoc in Carrollton. She was a member of the Worthville United Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her Husband, Rev. Raymond J. Sharon, her daughters, Patricia D. Breeden of Milton, KY., and Jeannie C. Butler of Hamilton, OH., a son, Jonathan L. Sharon of Gratz, KY., three sisters, Babe Kinman of Covington, KY., Betty Laverne Osborne of Covington, KY., and Jenny Sue Turner of Worthville, KY., a brother, Edwin L. Granger of Carrollton, KY., seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, James Thomas Granger and Elvin Benton Granger, one grandchild, Billy Joe Lilly.

Funeral Services were on Friday, June 10, 2011 at the Worthville United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Charles Kelly and Rev. Edgar Tetrick officiating the service. Burial was in the Owenton I.O.O.f. Cemetery in Owenton.

Arrangements were entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. - Thursday - June 9, 2011 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. - Friday - June 10, 2011 at the Worthville United Pentecostal Church.
