Elmer Gaines Anderson, 80, of Carrollton, KY., passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012 in Carrollton, KY.
He was born on April 5, 1932 in Carroll County, KY., the son of the late Orville Anderson and Corine Coghill Anderson. He retired in 1992 from the Dow Corning Chemical Company, Carrollton Plant as a Lab Technician. He was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church, the Carrollton Masonic Lodge #134 F & A.M. and the Scottish Rite , Covington, KY., lodge. He was known to be very meticulous in everything that he did in life.
He will be missed by his daughter, Rhonda G. (Husband- Carl) Webb of Hanover, IN., his son, Kelly R. (Wife- Pam) Anderson of Louisville, KY., his sister, Velma Jo Smith of Carrollton, KY., one grandchild Alex Webb.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside Services were held on Monday, September 17, 2012 at the English Cemetery in Carrollton with the Rev. Melvin LeCompte officiating the service.
Visitation
No visitation is planned.
Funeral
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday evening, September 17, 2012 at the Carrollton Christian Church with the Rev. Melvin LeCompte officiating the service.
Interment
A PRIVATE GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 at the English Cemetery in Carrollton.
