Elmer Curtis Perkins, 66, of Sanders, Carroll County, KY., died on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at his residence in Sanders, KY.
He was born on December 1, 1945 in Sparta, Gallatin County, KY., the son of the late Elmer Curtis Perkins and Parthena Johnson Perkins. He was a former factory worker. He served his country for two different terms in the United States Navy.
He will be missed by his wife, Dorothy Louise Combs Perkins of 33 years, his daughters, Melissa May Perkins of LaGrange, KY., and Dorothy Marie Paige of Sanders, KY., three sons, Willard Wayne Perkins of Sparta, KY., Albert Allen Collins of Sanders, KY., and James Matthew Collins of Cutler Bay, FL., six sisters, twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother and two grandchildren.
Cremation has been chosen by the family with no services planned.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
