Elmer Riddle| Jr.

Elmer Gene Riddle, Jr., 76, died on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at St. Elizabeth South Hospital in Edgewood, KY.

He was born in Sparta, Gallatin County, KY on September 9, 1931 to Elmer Gene Riddle, Sr. and Hallie Gladys Noel Riddle. He was a member of First Christian Church in Warsaw, KY where he served as an Elder. He retired from Kentucky Utilities Company and was a bus driver for Gallatin County School System for several years. Elmer Gene enjoyed playing Bluegrass music on the guitar, mandolin and harmonica and was also a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Eva Stephenson Riddle, whom he married on July 5, 1953. Also a son, Stephen Dennis Riddle and wife, Tina of Warsaw, KY, a daughter, Lynn Lee Stucker and husband, Brent of Carrollton, KY; a brother, James (Wanda) Riddle of Florence, KY and a half-sister, Corneillia Ford of Ft. Myers, FL. Three grandchildren also survive, Treyton B. Stucker of Carrollton, KY, Stephen D. Riddle, Jr. of Warsaw, KY and Jesse D. Riddle of Warsaw, KY.

Preceding him in death are his parents, 3 brothers; Robert, Donald and Freddie Riddle.

Funeral Services were officiated on Friday, September 21, 2007 by the Rev. Phil Case at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Memorial gifts were given to the First Christian Church in Warsaw, Ky.
