Eric Scott Gentry, 21, of Carrollton, KY, died on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in Carrollton, KY.
He was born on December 14, 1992 in Madison, Jefferson County, IN, the son of Mark Gentry and Sheila Grandy Gentry. He was a machine operator for Kemper Construction Company in Carrollton. He was a band member of "A Feast For Kings" were he was their lead vocalist.
He is survived by his parents of Worthville, KY, two brothers, Ryan T. Gentry (Erica) of Alamogordo, N.M., Christopher P. Gentry of Lexington, KY, three sisters, Ashley G. Gentry of Worthville, KY, Allison H. Gentry of Worthville, KY, and Angela J. Gentry of Worthville, KY, Paternal Grandparents, Evella Gentry of Christiansburg, VA, and Tom Gentry of Winter Haven, FL, maternal grandparents, Ash & Helen Grandy of Tucson, AZ, a nephew, Levi Gentry of Alamogordo, N.M.
Funeral Services were on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton with the Rev. Pat Butcher, Rev. Tony McKinnon and Rev. Don Adkins officiating the service. Burial was in the Dallasburg Masonic Cemetery in Wheatley, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Eric Scott Gentry Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of the funeral home.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 11:00 A.m.-2:00 P.M. at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton.
