Ernest McCormick

Ernest C. "Buck" McCormick, 81, of Carrollton, KY. died on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at his residence in Carrollton, KY.

He was born on December 24, 1931 in Carroll County, KY., the son of the late Elzie T. McCormick and Hazel B. Egerton McCormick. He was retired from the former Atofina Chemical Company in Carrollton having worked in the receiving department. He was a member of the Cove Hill Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.

He will be missed by his daughter, Patricia Ann Mefford of Carrollton, KY., two sons, Ernest Allen Grimes of Sellersburg, IN. and Glenn Chatham of Carrollton, KY. one sister, Betty Pecar of Carrollton, KY. three grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jane Chilton McCormick on April 15, 2010, two sisters, Ruby Jean McCormick and Sherlon McCormick, two brothers, Jerry and Donald McCormick, one granddaughter.

Funeral Services were on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Kindoll officiating the service. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Funeral

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Kindoll officiating the service.

Interment

Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
