Etta Walker

Etta M. Walker, 70, of Columbus, OH., formerly of Carrollton, KY., died on Monday morning at the Grant Hospital in Columbus, OH.
She was born on October 19, 1936 in Irad, Lawrence County, KY., the daughter of the late Harlan and Gypsy (Adams) Wellman. Etta was a self-employed Nurse having worked throughout the Carrollton area. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church of Carrollton.
She is survived by a daughter; Ellen G. Mahoney of Columbus, OH., three sisters; Martha Wellman of Columbus, OH., Selena Young of Louisa, KY., and Nannie Mae Roberts of Louisa, KY., four brothers; Lafe, Clyde, Frank and Clifford Wellman all of Louisa, KY., two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her 1st husband; Creed Baker and 2nd husband; Eunice Walker, a daughter; Anna Mae Baker, sons; Thomas and Phillip Baker, Sisters; Becky May and Daisy May and one brother; Billy Wellman.
The Rev. Samuel Grathler will conduct the funeral service on Friday afternoon in the funeral home chapel.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
