Eunice Isabell Fisher

Eunice Isabell Fisher, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, December 8,2024, at the age of 84. Born on October 25, 1940, in Owenton, Owen County, Kentucky, Eunice lived a full life marked by both hard work and devotion to her family.

Eunice had formerly worked for Rich Ladder and Kentucky Ladder in Carrollton for several years. Outside of her professional life, Eunice enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests. She found joy in listening to music, particularly the timeless tunes of Elvis Presley. A fan of soap operas, she often spent her afternoons engrossed in her favorite shows. Eunice cherished her time spent with family and had a special affinity for coffee and Gatorade, delighting in the simple pleasures of life that brought her comfort.

Eunice is survived by her daughter, Vickie Kate Fisher Garcia of Carrollton, KY; her son, Leonard Fisher, Jr. of Somerset, KY; her sisters, Daisy West of Carrollton, KY, and Janice Smith of Bedford, KY; and her four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. They will remember her warmth, kindness, and the love she generously shared.

Eunice was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Leonard Frederick Fisher. She also mourned the loss of her sisters, Florence Bibb and Teresa Neel; her brothers, Frank Skinner, Lindsay Hicks, and an infant twin brother, Benjamin Hicks.

A Graveside Service will be held to honor her memory on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, Kentucky. The service will begin at 12:00 PM.
