Forrest Osborne

Forrest E. Osborne, age 83 passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Norton’s Suburban Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Forrest was born on June 8, 1938, in Worthville, Carroll County, KY to Thomas Jefferson and Annie Kate Hearn Osborne.  He was a member of Worthville Baptist Church, a retired self-employed carpenter and a former forklift driver for the Carrollton Tobacco Company – Brite Lite #1 and #2 Warehouses.

Forrest’s survivors include; three daughters; Chandra Osborne of Carrollton, KY, Virginia Osborne (Danny) Wilson of New Liberty, KY and Connie Osborne of Frankfort, KY,  a step-daughter; Eva Lou Osborne of Madison, IN, three sons; Donald Osborne of New Liberty, KY, Stewart Osborne of New Liberty, KY and John Curtis Osborne of Turners Station, KY, two step-sons; Joe Ratliff of Warsaw, KY and James Ratliff of Warsaw, KY, 20 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty, his siblings, and by step-sons; Jackie Ratliff and Guy Ratliff.

A joint funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, December 17, 2021, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Houston officiating.  Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., Thursday, 12/16/2021 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Worthville Cemetery, Worthville, KY
