Forrest Perkinson

Forrest F. Perkinson, 95, of Fishers, IN, formerly of Carrollton, KY, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Harbour Manor in Noblesville, IN. He was born on November 27, 1920 in Bedford, Trimble County, KY, the son of the late Alva Marion Perkinson and Mallisa Ann Jeffries Perkinson. He had owned Perkinson Upholstery and Carpeting in Carrollton from 1969 to 1983. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton. He had served his country honorably during World War II. in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1945. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Lucille Hammond Perkinson of Fishers, IN, a son, Steve Perkinson and his wife Kathy of Fishers, IN, a daughter, Carolyn Barnett and her husband, Jim of Pensacola, FL, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Edith Coons, Stella Deweese, Grace Branch, Virgie Abbott and Maude Abbott, three brothers, Howard, Clyde and Wilbur Perkinson. Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Funeral

Funeral Services will be on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 12:30 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Chris White officiating the service.

Interment

A Graveside Service will be at 2:30 P.M. on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Louisville Memorial Gardens East in Louisville, KY.
