Foster Helm

Foster Blanton Helm, age 83, passed from this earthly life on Friday, November 29, 2019 at the Norton’s Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.  He was born in Carroll County, KY on April 24, 1936 to James T. and Hattie B. Walters Helm.  Foster was of the Baptist faith, farmed throughout most of his life and was a retired drill press operator with Williamson Heater Factory.  He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict with the rank of SP5 and was a member of the American Legion Post #9 in Madison, IN.  Foster enjoyed going to country music venues and auctions around the area.

He leaves to mourn his passing, a daughter; Darlyne (Gary) Martin of Milton, KY, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Loetta Helm in 2010, three sisters; Fannie E. Foster, Cora Catherine Ward and Nannie Frances Helm and two brothers; James S. Helm and Bennie Helm.
