Frances Banks

Frances Jo Banks,86,of Bedford, Carroll County, KY., died on Friday morning, August 26, 2011 at the Davis Elderly Care Home in Hanover, IN.
She was born on July 4, 1925 the daughter of the late Chester and Goldie Kendall Sims. She was a retired Secretary with Soil Conservation in Carroll County. She enjoyed sewing and doing upholstery work in her spare time. She was a life long animal lover and supporter. She was considered a grandmother to many people in the community.
Mrs. Banks was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church.
Mrs. Banks was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James C. "J.C." Banks on April 26, 2011 and one infant son,Delmas Banks.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Matt Lipe officiating the service. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
