Frances Walker Finney, 89, of Carrollton, KY., formerly of Frankfort, IN., died on Thursday morning, April 21, 2011 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab. Center in Carrollton, KY.
She was born on February 18, 1922 in Frankfort, Clinton County, IN., the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Elizabeth Reed Walker. She was a Housewife and a member of the Pentecostals of Carrollton. Frances was a former Sunday School Superintendent for 40 years at the Apostolic Gospel Church in Deluth, MN.
Mrs. Finney will be missed by her two son's, David Finney of Carrollton, KY., and Lyndon Finney of Frankfort, IN., one brother, Davaun Walker of Frankfort, IN., six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Newton Finney in 2009, five sisters, Ethel Miller, Dorothy Altic, Blanche Pickering, Kathryn Jacoby, Roberta McCarty and Maxine Elkins, three brothers, Charles, Alva and Artie Walker.
Funeral Services were on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at the Pentecostals of Carrollton Church with the Rev. Ron Tiller officiating the service. Graveside Services were at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort, IN.
