Frances Mefford

Frances A. Mefford, 68, of Carrollton, KY., died on Saturday at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.

She was born in Carrollton, KY., the daughter of Alfred and Josephine Jackson Schwing. Frances was retired as a Sales Department Head at the V.F. Factory Outlet Store in Carrollton, KY. Frances was a member of the Worthville Methodist Church, but attended the Carrollton Wesleyan Church, she was also a member of the Carrollton Eastern Star Chapter #442.

Survivors include her mother of Carrollton, KY., her husband; Bill D. Mefford of Carrollton, KY., one daughter; Kimberly Blackburn of Owenton, KY., a sister; Nancy Barnes of Madison, IN., and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father; Alfred Schwing and two brothers; Alfred & Vernon Schwing.

The Rev. Robert A. Underwood will offiate the funeral service on tuesday in the funeral home chapel.

In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Gifts are suggested to the American Cancer Society Carroll County Unit. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
