Frances Perkins

Frances Clara (Wittkamp) Perkins, age 94, died on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY.  She was born on October 21, 1924 in Cincinnati, OH to Francis Anthony and Mary Anna Berling Wittkamp.  She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, formerly a sales clerk in the variety section of the former Parkview IGA Grocery Store in Carrollton, KY and graduated from the Cincinnati Vocational Sewing High School.

Frances is survived by her son-in-law, Robert Lindsay of Carrollton, KY, four grandchildren, Linda Kaye Ferguson of Savannah, GA, Karen Ann Hawkins of Shelbyville, KY, James Robert Lindsay of Lexington, KY and Cheryl Beth Bowker of Fort Collins, CO and six great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, H.W. “Jack” Perkins, her daughter, Gloria Ann Lindsay, two sisters, Mary Helen Mueller and Marcella Alberta Wittkamp and a brother, Christopher A. A. Wittkamp.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Picchioni, Celebrant.  Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M at the church.  Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.

Memorial gifts may take the form of gifts to: The Carroll County Food Pantry, St. John Community Outreach or Carroll County Public Library, in care of the funeral home.
