Francine Westrick

Francine Plew Westrick, 77, of Carrollton, KY, died on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at her home in Carrollton.

She was born on February 26, 1945, in Worthville, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late Frankie Plew and Dorothy Brown Plew.  Francine had worked for the Carroll County Middle School and the Carroll County High School as a Supervisor of Educational Programs and had worked at Carroll County High School in Administrative Duties.  She had the distinguished honor of being recognized by the City of Carrollton for Rescuing a Police Officer for her heroic effort.

Survivors include a daughter, Robin Louise Westrick of Frankfort, KY, a sister, Lana Mazza of Worthville, KY, and a grandchild, Keegan Patton of London, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert “Bobby” Westrick, and a brother, Billy Joe Plew.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with Mr. David Westrick presiding over the service.  Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the funeral home.  Burial will take place in the Worthville Cemetery in Worthville, KY.
