Garry Lee Ennis, 67, of Carrollton, KY, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his home in Carrollton, KY.

He was born on July 1, 1946 in Madison, Jefferson County, IN, the son of the late Wallace and Jane Ennis. He married his wife Delores Poe of Trimble County, KY, in 1973. He was a retired auto body manager from his business, Ennis Paint and Body Shop in Carrollton, KY. He was a member of the Whites Run Baptist Church. He had proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Delores Poe Ennis, his sister, Deborah Lewellyn and her husband, Larry of Carrollton. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Newcomer and Rev. Dr. Chris White officiating the service. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bedford Cemetery in Bedford, KY. The Carrollton American Legion Post #41 will present Military Honors at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the Whites Run Baptist Church, in care of the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Paul Aaron Poe, Christopher Poe, Daniel Poe, Raymond Poe, Patrick Fitzgerald, Ross Lewellyn and Tim Lewellyn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rick Brown and Billy Brown.

Visitation

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Funeral

Funeral Services will be on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Newcomer and Rev. Dr. Chris White officiating the service.

Interment

Bedford Cemetery - Bedford, KY.
