Gary Dermon

Gary Lee Dermon, age 59, of Ghent, KY, passed this life on Monday, January 14, 2019 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY.  He was born on September 18, 1959 in Carrollton, KY to Richard E. and Evelyn Lee (Day) Dermon.  Gary was employed for over 30 years as a machinist at the former Dayton-Walther Co. and most recently was a security guard with Allied Protection Services at the Kentucky Utilities Ghent Generating Station in Ghent, KY. He also previously attended Whites Run Baptist Church and enjoy playing baseball and softball.

Gary is survived by two daughters; Aubrey Dermon of Ghent, KY and Briana Dermon of Carrollton, KY, his mother, Evelyn Lee (Day) Dermon of Carrollton, KY, a brother, Clayton (Rachel) Dermon of Ghent, KY and three grandchildren, Dominik Beard, Serenity Beard and Raigen Beard.  He is preceded in death by his father, Richard E. Dermon.
