Gary Skirvin

Gary Lee Skirvin, 48, of Carrollton, KY., died on Saturday evening at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born in Covington, KY., the son of Calvin Skirvin of Nashville, TN., and Barbara Louise Ashcraft Brasfield of Darien, IL. Gary was a self-employed carpenter and a Pentecostal.

Survivors beside his parents, include his wife; Diane Skirvin of Chicago, IL., Daughter; Melissa Skirvin of Chicago, IL., son; Phillip Skirvin of Chicago, IL., step-daughters; Christina Depina and Felicia Remelake of Chicago, IL., step-son; Raymond Depina of Chicago, IL., a sister; Constance Schott of Darien, IL., Brothers; James Skirvin of Clarksville, TN., Darrell Skirvin of Carrollton, KY., Mark Skirvin of Warsaw, KY., Dennis Skirvin of Carrollton, KY., David Skirvin of Carrollton, KY., and Randall Brasfield of Chicago, IL., seven grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by a sister; Pamela Rose Skirvin.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
