George Alfred Mahoney, 63, of Carrollton, KY., died on Monday, April 29, 2013 at his residence in Carrollton, KY.
He was born on May 18, 1949 Owenton, Owen County, KY, the son of the late George Leonard Mahoney and Josie Dell Davis Mahoney. He was a retired maintenance man for the former Ato-Fina Chemical Company in Carrollton. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army from 1969 -1971.
He is survived by his wife Vickie Canine Mahoney of Carrollton, a brother, Richard C. Mahoney of Carrollton, KY, and three sisters, Rosie Lee Mack of Madison, IN, Mae Dell Proctor of Carrollton, KY, and Mary Kathleen Cannon of Carrollton, KY.
Funeral Services were on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Preston Wayne Harris officiating the service. Visitation was from Noon-2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the Squiresville Cemetery in Perry Park, KY.
