Georgia Rue Webber Hill, born April 21, 1921, in Lancaster, Ky., died Tuesday, January 24, 2012, in Indinapolis, Ind., following a long illness.
A wife and mother, she and her husband, John J. Hill, lived in Carrollton and for many years ran Hill's Grocery on 5th Street.
She was preceded in death by her husband John; brothers, James, Smiley and Bob; sister, Margie Webber Wilkinson.
Survivors include her two sons, David (Linda) Hill of Carrollton, Ky., and Bob (Teresa) Hill of Travelers Rest, SC., a brother, Tom (Julie) Webber of Miami, Fla., four grandchildren, Allison and Anna Hill, both of Carrollton, Ky., John Hill of Clemson, SC., and Laura Jane Hill of Travelers Rest, SC.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the St. John Catholic Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Evening Prayers will be at 7:30 P.M. on Friday evening at the funeral home.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
