Georgia Frances Mefford, 54, died on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, IN.
She was born on July 21, 1955 in Carrollton, KY., the daughter of the late Orville Earl Mefford and Phyllis Stafford Mefford. Georgia was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University earning a degree in Criminal Justice. She currently worked as a chemical operator at the Arkema Chemical Plant in Carrollton. Georgia was a member of the Worthville Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister; Della Downey of Worthville, KY., two brothers; Bill and Dale Mefford of Worthville, KY.
Preceding her in death was her parents and an infant sister; Marian Lee Mefford.
Funeral Services were Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Worthville Baptist Church with the Rev. Steven Scherer officiating the service. Burial was in the Dallasburg Masonic Cemetery in Wheatley, KY.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
