Gilbert Lacefield

Gilbert Thomas Lacefield, 70, of Carrollton, KY., died on Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Hosparus In Patient Care Center in Louisville, KY.

He was born on May 19, 1942 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, OH., the son of the late Gilbert E. Lacefield and his adoptive mother the late Lucille Jennings Lacefield. He was a graduate of the Carrollton High School. He had retired after 27 years of service in 2001 from Kentucky Utilities as a Tool and Die Maker. He was a member of the Carrollton Masonic Lodge #134 F & A.M.

In his spare time he had a true passion for Golf.

He will be missed by his daughters, Angie Lacefield of Louisville, KY., and Christy Lacefield of Shepherdsville, KY., a son, Sean Lacefield of Shepherdsville, KY., a brother, Ron Lacefield of Carrollton, KY.

He was preceded in death by his father and adoptive mother.

Visitation was on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 5:00 P.M - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. A Memorial Service is planned at a later date, cremation has been chosen by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Carroll County in care of the funeral home.

Visitation

Visitation will be on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 5:00 P.M - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Interment

Cremation has been chosen by the family.
