Gladys Jones

Gladys Catherine Jones, 95, formerly of Carrollton, KY., died on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the North Point Nursing Home in Lexington, KY.
She was born on March 14, 1913 the daughter of the late Winfield S. Stivers and Sara E. Harlow Stivers. Gladys was a retired Dietary Clerk at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton.
She is survived by a grand daughter; Beverlie A. Taylor of Georgetown, KY., and Rodney A. Taylor of Suffolk, VA.
Preceding her in death was her parents, her husband; Beverly G. Jones, a daughter; Jean A. Taylor, May of 2007, four sisters; Grace Henry, Stella Griffin, Ollie Johnson, and Minnie Smither, one brother; Shirley Stivers.
Arrangements are pending at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
The Rev. Chris White will officiate funeral services on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
