Glenn Belcher

Glenn R. Belcher, 74, of Barlow, KY., died on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at his residence in Barlow, KY.

He was the son of the late John and Alberta Ruth Belcher.

Glenn was retired from Chrysler Corporation and the Ballard County School System. He was an Air Force Veteran and a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, June Smith Belcher of Barlow, KY., two sons, Ricky Belcher and his wife, Lori, of Barlow, KY., and Thomas Belcher and his wife, Gloria of Carrollton, KY., one daughter, Vicki Johnson and her husband, Phil, of Barlow, KY.,six grandchildren, Melissa Garrett Moore and her husband, Thomas of Barlow, KY., David Garrett of Barlow, KY., Erika and Shelbie Belcher of Barlow, KY., and Brittany and Blake Belcher of Carrollton, KY., two grandsons; Avin and Lawsin Moore of Barlow, KY., two brothers, William Belcher and his wife, Alethia of Jefferson City, TN., Ralph Belcher and his wife, Betty, of White Pine, TN., two sisters; Cozette Bowen of Del Rio, TX., and Janice Isaac and her husband, Eulis, of Jefferson City, TN., one brother-in-law, Glenn Smith of Barlow, KY., and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, David Allen Belcher and five brothers.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Monday, Janaury 11, 2010 at the Morrow Funeral Chapel, 376 West Kentucky Dr., La Center, KY 42056. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Sunday evening, January 10, 2010 at the Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center, KY. Please note that La Center is in Western, KY., and they are an hour behind from the the time in Carrollton, KY.

The Rev. Scott Fickes will be officiating the funeral service on Monday. Interment will be in the La Center Cemetery.
