Goldean Slusher, 83, of Carrollton, KY, died on Tuesday evening, October 22, 2013 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on January 18, 1930 in Owen County, KY, the daughter of the late George and Sophia Bates Howell. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her companion of 32 years, Morris Wayne Sargent of Carrollton, KY, four sons, Danny Payton, Charlie Payton, James, and Steve Payton, all of Carrollon, two daughters, Donna Henry and Lois Harmon, both of Carrollton,eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Roy, Amy and Charlie Howell, one grandson, Ralph Payton.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Friday at the Funeral Home.
