Gordon Wood

Gordon E. "Woody" Wood, 75, of Perry Park, KY, died on Thursday, May 23, 2014 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, KY.

He was born on April 15, 1939 in Maysville, Mason County, KY, the son of Gordon Douglas Wood and Florence Elizabeth Carter. He was a retired Controller for General Motors. He was a member of the Heritage Fellowship Church in Florence, KY.

He is survived by his wife Judy A. Wood of Perry Park, KY, his mother, Florence Elizabeth Wood of Cincinnati, OH, a daughter, Jan A. Hills of White Lake, MI, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Douglas Wood, a brother, Charles Carter Wood and a sister, Dorothy Elizabeth Troeger.

Funeral Services were on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at NOON at the Apostolic Church in Auburn Hills, MI.Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. - Noon on Wednesday at the Apostolic Church. Burial was in the Christian Memorial Cemetery. Local services were on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Perry Park Community Center in Perry Park, KY.
