Gretchen Karsner

Gretchen Karsner, 56, of Carrollton, KY., died on Monday, September 5, 2011 at her residence in Carrollton, KY.

She was born on October 19, 1954 in Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana the daughter of the late Owen Coakley Karsner and Geneva Smith Pettit of Georgetown, KY.

Mrs. Karsner was a former resident of Houston, TX., where she was employed as an Optician, she later worked for CVS in Indianapolis, IN., as a Pharmacy Tech. After she moved to Carrollton she was employed at the Rite-Aid Drug Store as a Pharmacy Tech.

She was a loved Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Mother, Friend and Grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She will never be forgotten and will be forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her mother, two daughters, Jenena Leigh Tello of Carrollton, KY., and Vanessa Kaye Tello of Indianapolis, IN., a sister, Patricia K. Thompson of Indianapolis, IN., a brother, Patrick Karsner of Georgetown, KY., and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A memorial service is planned on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 2:00P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Cremation was chosen by the family.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
