Grover T. Young, 80, of Worthville, KY., died on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at his residence in Worthville, KY.
He was born on July 25, 1932 in Trimble County, KY., the son of the late Omar Young and Mattie Bell Jones Young. He was a retired factory worker and a retired farmer. He was of the baptist faith.
He is survived by a sister, Nancy Mahoney of Worthville, KY., two nephews, Troy and David Craig and two nieces, Tammy Bennett and Shelly Morrow along with several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles Wesley Young and Harry Russell Young.
Funeral Services were on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with Pastor Pat Butcher officiating the service. Burial was in the Worthville Cemetery in Worthville, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to American Cancer Society Carroll County Chapter in care of the funeral home.
Visitation
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
