Harold Robbins

Harold Duane Robbins, 67, of Carrollton, KY, died on Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on March 3, 1951 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Homer Robbins and the late Annie Lewellyn Robbins.  He was a  1969 graduate of Carroll County High School.  He had retired in 2009 from Dow Corning Chemical Company in Carrollton as a Mechanic.  He was a member of the Cove Hill Baptist Church and had served as a Church Deacon and Adult Sunday School Teacher.  He had served as a former Carroll County High School Assistant Football Coach and on the Carroll County Football Booster Club.  He was also a former Coach for many Carroll County Little League Teams in various sports.

He will be missed by his wife of forty eight and half years, Karen Perkinson Robbins, two sons, Cheston (Lee) Robbins of Carrollton, KY, and Jeff (Chas) Robbins of Carrollton, KY, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren, four sister in-laws, Gloria Dermon of Carrollton, KY, Linda Meredith of Hanover, IN, Judy Perkinson of Pendleton, KY, and Patricia Wright of  Carrollton, KY, two brother in-laws, Ronald Perkinson of Carrollton, KY, and Michael Perkinson of Madison, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Marvin Robbins and a brother in-law, Ray Perkinson.
