Harvey Ford

Harvey Ford, 85, of Carrollton, KY., died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Baptist Northeast Hospital in LaGrange, KY.

He was born on April 23, 1926 in Port Royal, Henry County, KY., the son of the late Arthur and Eliza Furnish Ford. He was a retired farmer and maintenance man. He was a member of the English Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Garrett Ford of Carrollton, KY., three daughters, Linda (Robert) Riddle of Bedford, KY., Nancy (Wayne) Hoard of Milton, KY., and Bonnie (Owen) Smith of Bedford, KY., a sister, Dora Katherine Poe of Port Royal, KY., eighteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Pauline Ford Clark, a infant sister, Evelyn Ford, four brothers, Melvin Thomas, Marvin Lee, Orvie Woodrow and William H. Ford, one great great grandchild also preceded him in death.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial wil be in the English Cemetery near Carrollton, KY.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
