Hazel Roark Wilkerson, 66, of Ghent, KY., died on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit in Edgewood, KY.
She was born on April 3, 1944 in Bell County, KY., the daughter of the late Bill Roark, Sr., and Sarah Brock Roark. Hazel was a homemaker and of the baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband; Darrel Wilbur Wilkerson, her daughters; Cynthia Smith of Saudi Arabia and Karen Sue Maggee of Owenton, KY., two sons; Darrel Wilbur Wilkerson, Jr., of Madison, IN., and David Wayne Wilkerson of Carrollton, KY., six sisters; Viva Broughton of Columbus, IN., Mandy Hansen of Union, KY., Dorothy Trumble of Phoenix, AZ., Pearl Wingieir of Williamsburg, KY., Nancy Wilkerson of Houston, TX., and Reba Sexton of Middlesboro, KY., a brother; John Roark of Peebles, OH., and seventeen grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Ray, Bill, Jr., and Willie Roark.
Funeral Services were on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
