Hector Garcia Arteaga, 31, of Carrollton, KY., died on Wednesday evening, August 1, 2007 from injuries received in a automobile accident on U.S. HWY 42 in Carroll County, KY.
He was born in Mexico on November 12, 1975 the son of Joel Garcia Reyes and Yolanda Arteaga Mendo of Veracruz, Mexico.
Hector was a welder and had attended St. John Catholic Church in Carrollton.
He is survived by his parents and a sister living in Mexico.
Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday at the St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. Kuvungal Davy officiating the service. Burial will follow in Cementerio La Union, Mexico.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
