Helen Louise Burns, age 94, of Carrollton, KY formerly of Ghent, KY passed this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Fountain Circle Care and Rehabilitation Center in Winchester, KY. She entered life on July 7, 1926 in Ghent, Carroll County, KY to William and Latha (Perkins) Perkins. Louise was a long time, devoted member of the Ghent Baptist Church, where she served as Church Clerk for 31 years, from 1963 until 1994. She was a homemaker and also Past Worthy Matron of the Ghent Order of the Eastern Star.
Left to mourn her passing are two daughters; Sherry E. (Bill) Lindsay of Worthville, KY and Ladonna S. (Todd) Foreman of Louisville, KY, three grandchildren; Eric (Tonya) Lindsay of Worthville, KY, Jeanna McGuire of Louisville, KY and Leah (Todd) Guilford of Louisville, KY, four great grandchildren; Daniel S. Lindsay, Conner McGuire, Trenton McGuire and Raegan Guilford. She was preceded in death by; her parents, her husband, Leonard Newton Burns, a sister; Mary Elizabeth Snowden and four brothers; Howard “Jack” Perkins, Harold Perkins, Harry “Buster” Perkins and James Perkins.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and the new reopening requirements we will be limiting our building occupancy to 50% of normal capacity, so please be prepared for a possible line as we will be monitoring the occupancy. We will also be strictly adhering to the 6 feet social distancing requirements and all attendees will be required to wear a face mask.
