Helen Smith

Helen L. (Devore) Smith, age 84, of Worthville, KY passed this life on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.  She was born in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY on December 7, 1934 to the late Vernon L. and Helen C. Johnson Devore. She was of the Methodist faith, a homemaker, worked the family farm many years ago and enjoyed crocheting and quilting.

She is survived by her daughter; Helen Rebecca (Glenn) Chatham of Carrollton, KY and her son; Danny (Pamela) Smith of Carrollton, KY, a sister; Niccola Penix of Indianapolis, IN, a niece; Peggy Jones of Indianapolis, IN, two nephews; Allen Jones and Keith Penix, both of Indianapolis, IN, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Howard D. Smith, a brother; Dale Devore and two great-grandchildren.
