Hershel Hester

Hershel Herbert Hester, 83, of Carrollton, KY, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, IN.

He was born on August 7, 1938, in Cave City, Barren County, KY, the son of the late Clyde Hester and Cordia Duger. Hershel had worked as a Carpenter working in the home remodeling business.

Hershel is survived by three daughters, Melissa “Misse” Hester of New Albany, IN, Delores Hester of Vero Beach, FL, and Dawn Abbott of High Springs, FL, seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
