Hugh Shobert

Hugh Shobert, 99, died on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
He was born on September 8, 1912 in Noble, Oklahoma the son of the late Jacob M. and Rose Fuzzell Shobert. He was retired from the Civil Service. He served his country in the U.S. Army and he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton.
He is survived by a brother, Alva Shobert of Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Leoma Shobert, three sisters, Graca S. Walker, Alta Mae Fore and Evelyn S. Hanson, two brothers also preceded him, Pleasaton and Newton Shobert.
Funeral Services were on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Dr. Chris White officiiating the service. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
