Irita R. Eaves, 69, of Carrollton, KY, died on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Gallatin Health Care Center in Warsaw, KY.
She was born on January 15, 1944 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late Austin R. Whitaker and Ruby B. Tomlinson Whitaker. She was a former Cashier for Belterra Casino in Florence, IN. She had also previously worked for the Kawneer Factory in Milton, KY. She had been a member of Carrollton Wesleyan Church in Carroltlon and Paint Lick Baptist Church in Warsaw, KY.
She is survived by several cousins, two uncles, Edward Tomlinson of St. Petersburg, FL, and David Tomlinson of Union City, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Eaves, one brother, William D. Whitaker.
Funeral Services were on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Denny French officiating the service. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
Visitation
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
