James Miller

James Allen Miller, age 78, departed this life on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Norton’s Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.  He entered life on January 4, 1942 in Columbia, MS to Virgil Davis Miller and Martha Fannie Williams Miller.  James retired from Nucor Steel in May 2015 as an equipment operator, retired in 1994 from Brown & Root Construction Company and served in the U.S. Army National Guard.

His survivors include, two daughters; Stephanie and her husband, Shane Surratt of Milton, KY and Gloria and her husband, Thomas Belcher of Carrollton, KY, a son: Chris Miller of Carrollton, KY, five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Minnie Rose Kidd Miller (May 2015), an infant sister; Gloria Miller and a brother; Verlin Miller.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and the new reopening requirements we will be limiting our building occupancy to 50% of normal capacity, so please be prepared for a possible line as we will be monitoring the occupancy.  We will also be strictly adhering to the 6 feet social distancing requirements and all attendees will be required to wear a face mask.
