James Proctor

James Fredrick “Spider” Proctor, 74, of Carrollton, KY, died on Friday, July 5, 2019 at his home in Carrollton.

He was born on February 16, 1945 in Gallatin County, KY, the son of the late Victor Hayes Proctor and Essie Sarah Belle Marie Beach Proctor.  He had worked for the Gallatin County School System as a bus driver and mechanic and Sullivan Trucking Company as a diesel mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Ruth Stangle Proctor of Carrollton, KY, four  daughters, Nancy Ellen (James) Foster of Carrollton, KY, Kimberly Moore of Worthville, KY, Karen (Martin) Evans of Carrollton, KY, Leigh Ann (Charles) Prather of Monte Eagle, TN, two sons, James Edward “Eddie” Proctor of Carrollton, KY, and Jason Matthew Proctor of Glencoe, KY, two sisters, Brenda Susan Dodson of Carrollton, KYand Linda Lou Proctor of Manchester, TN,  five brothers, Leslie Earle “L.E.” (Karen) Proctor of Batavia, OH,  Victor Hayes Proctor, Jr. of Vevay, IN, Vernon (Alma) Proctor of Warsaw, KY, Lewis Hayes ( Mae Delle) Proctor of Carrolton, KY,  and Ronald (Connie) Proctor of Vevay, IN, twenty one grandchildren and twenty eight great grandchildren survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jefferey Scott Proctor, Brothers, Richard Lee and Robert “Bobby” Proctor, a grandson, Eric Proctor.
