James Lee Hayden, 61, of Carrollton, KY., died on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on December 26, 1946 in Carroll County, KY., the son of the late Herbert Lee Hayden and Martha Elizabeth May of Carrollton, KY. James was a retired Chemical Operator and a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam era.
Survivors include three daughters; Dena Nonato of Hanover, IN., Joetta Hayden of Milton, KY., and Amy Hrdlicca of Carrollton, KY., his mother; Martha Elizabeth May of Carrollton, KY., four sisters; Diane Tingle of Carrollton, KY., Rebecca Ward of Carrollton, KY., Elizabeth Jo Sanders of Carrollton, KY., and Diane Rachelle Lyons of Georgetown, KY., a brother; Larry Hayden of Madison, IN., four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters; Brenda Joyce Hayden and Nellie Carol Hayden.
The funeral service were at 11:00 A.M. - Friday - February 8, 2008 at the Tandy - Eckler - Riley Funeral Home. The Rev. Gene Dowell and Rev. Rick Nickels officiated the service, burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
The Carrollton American Legion Post #41 presented full Military Honors at the Graveside.
Arrangements were entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
