James G. “Jim” Tuttle, 73, of Sanders, Carroll County, KY, died on Friday, January 24, 2020 at his home in Sanders.
He was born on May 26, 1946 in Jonesville, KY, the son of the late Gilbert and Bessie Brown Edlin Tuttle. He was a 1964 graduate of Carroll County High School. He went to serve his Country proudly in the United States Marine Corp. for 4 years during the Vietnam War Era. He had owned a Transmission Business in Louisville for few years before returning to Carrollton to farm the rest of his life. He enjoyed raising Tobacco and Black Angus Cattle. He had served on the Cattle Association and the Soil Conservation Board.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching football.
He is survived by two sons; Charles Adam Tuttle and Jimmy Tuttle, both of Sanders, KY, a brother; Billy (Penny) Tuttle of Sanders, KY, three sisters, Mary Corley of Carrollton, KY, Doris Tuttle and Joyce Hewitt, both of Sanders, KY, three grandchildren; Tyler Tuttle, Alexis Tuttle and Alyssa Tuttle, two step-grandchildren; Erica Noble and Tiffany Couch, three great grandchildren; Cash Noble and Adrianna Couch and Kayden Beach
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-daughter; Sabrina Brown Stethen, two brothers; Charles and Glen Tuttle, maternal grandparents; Clara Braden and Wesley R. Edlin, paternal grandparents; Marjorie Witt and James A. Tuttle
Cremation Services have been chosen by the family.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
