Janie Smith

Janie Smith, 51, of Carrollton, KY., died on Sunday at the Baptist Hospital Northeast Hospice Unit in LaGrange, KY.
She was born in Warsaw, KY., the daughter of the late Charles William "Bill" Kinman and Leona Shelton Kinman of Carrollton, KY. Janie was a homemaker and a member of the English Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; Ronald E. Smith, her mother of Carrollton, KY., a daughter; Tammy Porter of Carrollton, KY., a son; James "Rocky" Stephan of Carrollton, KY., a step-son; Michael Smith of Worthville, KY., sisters; Millie Proctor of Carrollton, KY., Linda Robbins of Carrollton, KY., Joyce Backus of Canaan, IN., and Sherry O'Neal of Madison, IN., brothers; Herbert Kinman of Carrollton, KY., Ronnie Kinman of Carrollton, KY., and Daniel Kinman of Carrollton, KY., and six grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her father; Charles William "Bill" Kinman and two brothers; Gary Ray and Jerry Lee Kinman.
The Rev. Bill Waugh will conduct funeral services on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
