Jasper "Buddy" Robbins, 78, of Worthville, KY, died on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on January 27, 1937 in Bedford, Trimble County, KY, the son of the late Ira Robbins and Florence Jane Johnson Robbins. He was a former Truck Driver for Rich Ladder Company in Carrollton, KY. He had also worked as a Dispatcher for the Carrollton Police Dept. He was a member of the Honda Goldwing Association, the Carrollton Masonic Lodge #134 F & A.M., the I.O.O.F. Browinski Lodge #64 in Carrollton and he was a former member of the Carrollton Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Kinman Robbins of Worthville, KY, a son, Richard Robbins of Worthville, KY, two daughters, Carol Skirvin and Lynn Annette Skirvin, both of Worthville, KY, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Anna Robbins, Daisy McDowell, Lena Godman and Betty Burgess, a grandson, Nathaniel Whitson.
Funeral Services were on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Jones officiating the service. Visitation was on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 5;00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the Hunters Bottom Lutheran Cemetery in Milton, KY.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Visitation was on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 5;00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
