Jay Gibson

Jay Dwight Gibson, 62, of Worthville, KY,  died on Saturday, September 4, 2021, in Indianapolis, IN.

He was born on May 28, 1959, in Owen County, KY, the son of the late Charlie Gibson and Jerri Stivers Gibson of Owenton, KY.  Jay farmed all his life and had worked in the construction and logging industry.  He loved to go fishing in his spare time.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Jay is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann “Ruthie” Cloyd Gibson of Worthville. KY, his mother of Owenton, KY, a son, Jesse Gibson and his companion, Whitney of Worthville, KY, a daughter, Rebecca Gibson of Worthville, KY, a brother, Jeff Gibson and his wife, Janet of Owenton, KY, a sister, Raejean Beebe of Birmingham, AL, two grandchildren, Gracie Conrad and Johnny Gibson, several nieces and nephews and his extended family members in the Young and Caton Families.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
