Jean McAlister

Jean Wright McAlister, 70, of Carrollton, KY, died on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on July 13, 1946 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, the daughter of the late Nelson Eugene “Gene” Wright and Mary Stewart Wright. She had retired from the Dow Corning Chemical Company in Carrollton from the Purchasing Department. She was a member of the English Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry McAlister of Carrollton, KY, a daughter, Dana (Danny) Wesley of Glencoe, KY, two sons, Tim (Karen) McAlister of Turners Station, KY, and Kyle (Gwen) McAlister of Turners Station, KY, two sisters, Brenda (Bill) Stewart of Worthville, KY, and Barbara (Bill) Dunn of Carrollton, KY, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis Wayne Wright.
Burial will be in the Port Royal Cemetery in Port Royal, KY.
