Jennie Long

Jennie M. Long, 68, of Carrollton, KY, died on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at her residence in Carrollton.

She was born on June 18, 1945 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of Hubert Barnes and Thelma Ruth Sullivan Barnes. She was a housewife and a member of the Carrollton Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Alvin Long of Carrollton, KY, two daughters, Thelma Ruth Noe of Collins, GA, and Mae Lavon Williams of Carrollton, KY, six sons, Robert Allen Wentworth of Carrollton, KY, Jackie Wentworth of Trimble County, KY, Leon Wentworth of Shelbyville, KY, Alvin Theodore Wentworth of Henry County, KY, Howard Ray Wentworth of Trimble County, KY, Kenneth Williams, Jr, of Worthville, KY, three step daughters, Lois Ann Curry of Heiskell, TN, Reginia Reitz of Miami, FL, Pamela Bryant of Grayson, KY, two step sons, Oscar Lee Long of Heiskell, TN, David Woodrow Long of Olive Hill, KY, step-father, Oscar Cook of Carrollton, KY, three sisters, Willetta Ochy of Carrollton, KY, Dora Frazier of Carrollton, KY, Julia Smith of Carrollton, KY, eighteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a step son, Jeffrey Clinton Long, sisters, Janet Eversole, Elizabeth McGuire, and Martha Barnes, two grandchildren, Jamie Nathaniel Campagna II. and Kayla Ann Wentworth.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Wade officiating the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
