Jess W. Maiden, 68, of Carrollton, KY., died on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab. Center in Carrollton, KY.
He was born on June 25, 1944 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY., the son of the late Wavie and Pearl Lewellyn Maiden. He was a retired Fire Engineer and Telecommunication Officer with the City of Carrollton. He had served in the Army National Guard in Carrollton. He attended the Apostolic Pentesostal Church of Campbellsburg.
He is survived by a son, Doug Maiden of Carrollton, KY., a brother, Wavie L. Maiden of Carrollton, KY., a sister, Morene Perry of Campbellsburg, KY., and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant brothers, Roy and Ray Maiden and one sister, Mary Helen Maiden.
Funeral Services were on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
