Jo Riddle

Jo Eva Riddle, 80, of Warsaw, KY., died Friday afternoon, March 18, 2011, at the Gallatin Health Care Center in Warsaw, KY.

She was born on March 23, 1930, in Glencoe, Gallatin County, KY., the daughter of the late Irven E. and Bertha M. Wallick Stephenson. Mrs. Riddle was retired from the Kentucky Utilities Company in Warsaw, KY., and Carrollton, KY., as an Office Clerk. She was a member of the Warsaw Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and was also the former Church Pianist.

In her spare time she was an avid artist, having painted many paintings throughout her lifetime. Her media of choice were oil and watercolor. When she wasn't painting, you could find her at her kitchen table working the daily crossword puzzle from the Kentucky Post. She was also a faithful Cincinnati Reds baseball and University of Kentucky basketball fan.

She will be missed by her daughter, Lynn L. (Riddle) Stucker and her husband Brent of Carrollton, KY., her son, Stephen D. Riddle and his wife Tina of Warsaw, KY., her older sister, Louise Roberts of Glencoe, KY., and four grandchildren, Stephen D. Riddle, Jr., and Jesse D. Riddle both of Warsaw, KY., and Treyton B. Stucker and Keeley Vaun Stucker both of Carrollton, KY.

Mrs. Riddle was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer Gene Riddle, Jr. in 2007, four sisters, Ruby Daulton, Evelyn Stephenson, Jessie Luchte and Clara Rider, a brother, Andy E. Stephenson.

Funeral Services were on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Phil Case officiating. Burial was in the Glencoe Cemetery in Glencoe, KY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Warsaw Christian Church in care the funeral home.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
